Ok I have never been that troubled about sorting my rig out. Was about to give it away but am thinking maybe I should upgrade it and use it a little longer. I dont really use it all that much but maybe upgrading it will encourage me to use it a bit more.

Any help / advice on good graphics cards 1gig memory sort of thing would be nice with HDMI output for my tv etc. I also want to upgrade my Ram. I want at least 2 gig I reckon. So advice on good compatible ram would be great.

Current Specs are as follow:

P5N32SLI Delux Asus Motherboard
1 Gig Ram
Intel (R) Pentium (R) D Chipset 3,4Ghz
ATI Radion x800GT 256MB

Not sure about PCI or AGP I know very little of which one is more upgradable but looking in device manager it said.

4GB for $80 you should be able to get a similar deal at another vendor, nothing fancy but so cheap for what it is.


As far as a video card, your concern is getting some bang out of your buck I'd assume?

Thanks Tro. I will have a look at your links. Everyone being gamers I assumed they would all have some input. I do indeed want bang for my buck. My issue is compatible RAM and Graphics.
