We've been hit a lot recently with an exploit where the person shows up in chat as attempting to join several times and then the server crashes. I think as they are trying to join they are executing some kind of script with commands.
Our server host pointed us to this explanation https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=841590 and possible plugin. The problem is this plugin is meant for sourcemod.
Is there anything we can do while running Beetle?

theres not much more can be done with tf2..
valve wont even fix there own software.

The problem is with a CSS Server. Now we're running into a situation where people are freezing the server so that everyone just pauses.
Anything that can be done about that?

I found this page which has a lot of information about exploits and fixes, but it seems that all these fixes require you to be running SourceMod. I've always like running Beetlemod on our servers, but if changing mods is going to be necessary to prevent us from being attacked then we may have to go that direction.
